Official Hackathon Rules

• The build weekend runs online on 5–6 September 2026.
• Submissions close on Monday, 7 September 2026 at 9:00 CET — that's 3:00 AM ET / midnight Sunday PT. You can resubmit until the deadline — the latest entry is the one judged.
• Schedule details, links, and operational updates are announced on the participant dashboard, in Discord, and by email.

• The Hackathon is open worldwide. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
• Participation is void where prohibited by law.
• People directly involved in organizing or judging the Hackathon may participate, but cannot win prizes.

• Enter solo or in a team of up to 4 people.
• One entry per team, and a person can be on one team only.

• Your project must be built during the Hackathon. Pre-existing frameworks, libraries, and boilerplate may be used, but the substance of the work must happen during the event.
• The project must use Mozaik (@mozaik-ai/core) and run two (2) or more concurrent agents.
• AI-assisted development is allowed and encouraged.
• You must own, or have the right to use, everything you submit — code, assets, and data. No infringing, unlawful, or harmful content.

• Submit through the submission page: project name, a repository the judges can access, a description, and an explanation of how your agents run concurrently. A demo video, live deployment, and screenshots are optional but strongly recommended.
• Submissions the judges cannot open, run, or verify may be excluded from judging.

• To be eligible, a project must run two or more agents on Mozaik — a single-agent project does not qualify.
• Submissions are judged by a panel selected by JigJoy. The weight is on genuine use of concurrency — agents that actually run together — alongside technical execution, creativity, and the clarity of the demo.
• Judging takes up to 7 days after submissions close, and may be extended by up to 7 additional days if the number of submissions requires it.
• Judging decisions are final.

• Cash prize pool of USD $1,000: First Place $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200.
• daily.dev provides 12 months of daily.dev Plus for each member of the winning teams, up to ten (10) subscriptions in total.
• Hyperskill provides up to five (5) six-month Hyperskill Premium subscriptions for winning participants.
• Partner prizes are fulfilled in coordination with daily.dev and Hyperskill respectively, and are subject to the reasonable account and eligibility requirements of those services.

Cash prizes are distributed through Upwork.

• To receive a cash prize, the winner — or, for a team, its designated representative — needs an Upwork account able to receive payments, and must provide the information reasonably required to complete the payment.
• A team's cash prize is paid to its designated representative; how it is split within the team is the team's own decision.
• JigJoy will contact the winners and initiate payment within 7 days of the winner announcement. This period extends where a winner is unresponsive, does not provide the required information, does not satisfy these rules, or cannot receive payment through Upwork.

• JigJoy handles the administrative, legal, and tax obligations associated with its distribution of the cash prizes.
• Any tax obligations related to non-cash prizes — including the daily.dev Plus and Hyperskill Premium subscriptions — are the responsibility of the prize recipient, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

• You keep all intellectual property in your project.
• By submitting, you grant JigJoy, daily.dev, and Hyperskill a non-exclusive right to present your project — its name, description, screenshots, and demo — in the public gallery, winner announcements, and event-related communications.

• Be respectful in Discord, on streams, and everywhere the event happens.
• JigJoy may disqualify a participant or team for plagiarism, misrepresentation of authorship, harassment, sabotage of other teams or of the event, or any material breach of these rules.

Participant data collected through registration and submission is handled by JigJoy in line with the JigJoy privacy policy, and is not automatically shared with the Main Partners.

JigJoy may make reasonable operational adjustments to the schedule, judging process, or prize fulfillment where necessary. Material changes are announced through the dashboard, Discord, and email.

These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any dispute is first addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing that, the competent courts in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, have jurisdiction.
